Although the course is universal and can be studied alone we believe all students of drums should at some time take private lessons from a local tutor or more than one tutor at various times. This is because every tutor teaches something different and may have a solution you may need to work on for your personal advancement.

Again if you practice 10 hours per day and achieve a high level of success, do you think you would achieve that same success by spending half that time watching someone else play? No - you do not need to see how to do something you need to HEAR how to do something. Then move onto something else/the next thing.
Sitting whatching videos is great for analysing how someone else does things - Actively listening and seeing something written leaves no margin for personal judgement as a video does.
To repeat videos are great for analysing someone else - your job as the student is to analyse yourself. In short, videos are a secondary process.
Through the course you will receive recommendations for which videos outside of the course you will require to make you the great drummer.
As already touched upon in the last question it is "what you do within the time you have" that can make you a great drummer. Only you can decide your level of success. Completing the course will not make you a great drummer. Perfecting and mastering each of these course parts will.
The most valuable commodity in the universe is time. What you do "WITH your time" determines your level of achievement in any subject area. What you do "IN your time" (what you fill the space with) determines your level of mastery within that subject area.
For example you may practice 10 hours per day and achieve a modicum of success. Practice the same amount of time per day doing THE RIGHT things WITHIN those 10 hours makes the greatest difference.
The universe concept is a metaphor only. The creation of the universe itself began with the big bang, then stars were formed, constellations of stars, galaxies etc. The universe serves as a valuable metaphor to create and develop your skills.
As an example, part one of the course is titled "Gravity" - Getting Grounded (Rock Style). The universe serves as a valuable metaphor to create and develop your skills starting with gravity - getting grounded - building a foundation.
Faster and increased understanding comes from knowing and understanding the smallest atomic units or parts of any subject area.

Generally drumming books can be divided into two categories. The beginner and the advanced player. The books written with the beginner in mind teach basic rhythms and or rudimentary exercises. One would have to read music and have a good level of experience and independence to play the first exercises in these books. The lack of usable rhythms is very apparent in these books
The titles aimed at the advanced player are mostly Great American Drummers teaching the very advanced artistic approaches to playing the drums. The rhythms are very complicated in most cases and the majority of them rely on the student having a lot of experience and practice behind him or her.
The Time & Space Drum Files take you right to the very beginning and Step By Step, exercise by exercise, the student develops a foundation, then begins to build on that foundation.
The Time & Space Files contain all of what several books, videos and tapes on the market today will teach you. And much more. The Time & Space Course Files puts all of the knowledge and exercises in the order it should be learned, studied and mastered.
To illustrate, of what use is having the knowledge to play complicated rhythms and fills, if the student cant keep time, or a basic rhythm going for any length of time without speeding up or slowing down. The basic drumming skills are essential for success.
